Northwestern University Campus.  The NU campus has long been a stopover for migrants of all kinds headed south. Park on the lakeside of the upper deck of the south parking lot off of Sheridan Rd. and Clark St., north of Clark St. beach, at 8:30 a.m. Leaders: Libby Hill and Isoo O’Brien. We will bird the Clark Street Beach Bird Sanctuary following the field trip.

Meet at 7:30 am at 1st shelter parking lot past Sand Pond, east off 17th Street (Moose Lodge corner) & Sheridan Rd (N of Rte 173 in Zion).  This is the HMANA Hawkwatch shelter area.  Target species:  Clay-colored Sparrow, Henslow's Sparrow, Dickcissel, Blue Grosbeak, Yellow-breasted Chat and more.  Easy walking.  Trip will last till about noon.  Limit of 12, RSVP required to Leader David B Johnson, djohnsoda@comcast.net.
