McHenry Dam has had Pine, Yellow-throated, and Prothonotary Warblers the last few years.  This is a good time to see them, even though it’s getting a bit late for many of the migrants.  Sandhill Cranes with young might be present, and there is a marsh with an overlook.  We could also take a walk at Moraine Hills across the road from McHenry Dam. Meet at 8:15 a.m. at McHenry Dam. Park at the end of McHenry Dam Rd, which is off River Road about a half-mile northwest of the entrance to Moraine Hills State Park. Leaders: Duane Heaton and Mary Lou Mellon.
