The eastern foothills of the Andes are among the least accessible, little explored yet most diverse parts of South America.  Come learn about Cordillera Azul National Park from John Bates, Associate Curator, Bird Division Field Museum. On a recent expedition, a Field Museum Bird team trekked into this spectacular area and did survey work, documenting birds and their parasites.
